My dad and I building 62 C10
5 or 6 years ago my dad found a 62 c 10 that someone had started to restore but never finished so my dad picked it up for a great price it sat around for a few years well my dad was building a 57 merc truck and he offered to give it to me for my first car and last year we started on it. its a very budget build i have gotten many ideas off this site and I thought i would post pics of us building it.

Sounds great, looking forward to the pictures. Also sounds like you have a cool dad and something really fun for a first ride.

Amazing progress, very nice. Was that a hole in the back of the cab, and if so - do you know what purpose it served?

Re: My dad and I building 62 C10
Dad's truck looks very cool to. I always loved that 57-60 body style. It's the one series I like just as much whether a fleetside or a stepside. We have a couple of Mercury trucks show up here once in a while because of the proximity to Canada.
