OK what do you guys think?
You really can't tell too much of a difference, really. I installed some 3/4" lowering blocks on my truck last night. Why 3/4", you ask? Well, I wanted to go a tad lower in the rear, but didn't want to spend $70+ on a set of drop blocks. While under the truck one day, I noticed I still had some U-bolt threads showing under the nuts. I had exactly 3/4" of thread, so I had a buddy of mine at a machine shop make the 3/4" blocks to use up all the threads on the U-bolts.
I like the way the rear looks now, but I feel the front needs to come down about another 1/2" now. Your thoughts? Before: After:

Re: OK what do you guys think?
Looks great! I wouldn't have thought it would have made that much of difference, but it sure did.

Re: OK what do you guys think?
I think it looks great! I think you are splittin hairs to get 1/2". If your rears are larger, they kind of fill the wells. I'd take it the way it is. I have thought of puttin larger tires and wheels in mine, but I would have to rework the tubs and bedsides.( Not going to happen) Besides when you put your big self in it, it probably squats another half inch! LOL Go ahead and have your wife take a pic with you in it, you'll see! Beautiful truck!

Re: OK what do you guys think?
Thanks for all your comments and compliments. At first I thought it looked odd and felt the front should come down some more. That's probably because I'm used to seeing it the way it's sat for so long. After spending all day looking at it, and after reading what you guys have to say, I've decided to keep it like it is. That's why I love this board. It still has a slight rake to it, which is what I was afraid I would lose.
I took a couple better pics yesterday evening.

Re: OK what do you guys think?
I was going to say it looks fine cuz the rear makes you happy and it still has rake. So,what drop does it have now and what is the difference in front and rear tire diameters? My project will have all four tires the same and it has a 4/6 drop. I would like to have some rake and am thinking to go with either 4" rear springs or a lower front spring. Larger rear tires would do the trick but I want to be able to rotate since I plan to do some traveling in it.

Re: OK what do you guys think?
Tim, this puts the total drop at 3.5/5.75. Actually, with the 1/4" spacers and bracket from the ECE Super Track Bar probably puts it right at 3.5/6.
The tires are 255/50/17 Front (27") 275/55/17 Rear (29")

I personally like a little "Rake" to my Vehicles. Looking at your Front Bumper, it looks fine to me. But then I look at your "Aspect Ratio" above the Front Tire and think it needs to come down some to achiev that rake. You had that Rake going on BEFORE you did the 3/4" drop, but now that you've dropped the rear, the Rake almost looks Flat/Straight across. Hope I didn't confuse you too much. Roger ADENDUM: I went back and looked at the "After" pictures and it does have that raker. I'd leave it alone. Looks Drop Dead Sexy the way it is now!

Re: OK what do you guys think?
I have to agree it looks really good as it sits. the rake on mine is being bothering me for a while just dont feel like wrenching on it I rather just enjoy it.

Re: OK what do you guys think?
I really like the look. The stance is great. I like it when the truck is low enough that the tires fill-up the fender, but the whole tire is still visible. You've done a fine job on the project.
