Should I paint my sons wagon?

I customized my sons radio flyer wagon the other day. Now I'm trying to decided if i should sand it down and paint it or leave it the Org. color for a "Rat Rod" look. What do you guys think?

What drop is that? And tire info. That's the stance I was going for.

Re: Should I paint my sons wagon?

Absolutely leave it. Now you just need some wide whites, chrome caps, and a mexican blanket on that seat!

Re: Should I paint my sons wagon?

Personally I'd never paint a Radio flyer unless repainting original specs. Just one of those things you don't mess with cause it takes away from the whole nostalgia of it. Otherwise you may as well buy a non-radio flyer which is already a different colour.

But let your son decide if he's old enough lol

Re: Should I paint my sons wagon?

Thanks guys. I was leaning toward leaving it but my wife wanted me to paint it. I've decited not to paint it. My son is 16 months old so i don't quit trust him with a paint gun yet. @Frky. Its alittle over 5 inch drop with some 20's, ok there 9's but i keep em clean. The wife orded the new tires b/c the old ones were dry rotted and she got the 9" instead of the 7's that came off it. Not a big deal just lost alittle of my turn radius. It still should look cool at shows. @67chevy. Its funny you said the mexican blanket b/c i was really thinking about doing the seat like that. Thanks again for the feed back
