Re: wig wag lights ?

what do you mean by relay box? If you already have a flasher unit, it's pretty simple, power, ground, left, right, switch. To do headlights is a little harder, you need to use a 6 pin 3 way switch.
Can use a 539 flasher too, but they arent solid state so they're not as even as an electronic unit

Becareful law enforcement might not be so entertained by wig-wags on your driving lights. There might be state laws against them, too much like a emergency vehicle.

Re: wig wag lights ?

Alternating lights are illegal everywhere for non-emergency vehicles [unless its a school bus] . Does not matter what color either.

Heres a tip, put an underhood disconnect on those lights-Be it a fuse, switch or a socketed relay. Do not drive down the roads having the ability to turn them on at will. One day you will get stopped because of it. Be it a nosy neighbour who saw you setting it up in your driveway, observed by a cop (on or off duty) at a show or get together, or a disgruntled acquaintance who knows about them and drops a dime on you. If you have the ability to turn them on from in the cab, you will get nailed. Police impersonation is taken seriously out there. If one was to crop up in your area, the neighbour that hates you might just drop the dime and when Mr Nice Police officer asks you to turn on your lights and flip switches, you better hope you pulled that fuse. I say this coming from the old cop car community, where those who've decided to enable their flashy lights full time have eventually gotten them into hot water, or undue attention when a real trouble maker shows up in the area and the cops come checking up on you.
