Suburban Seats

I have the 3 seats that came out of my Suburban and a 4th front seat out of 72 Cheyenne. The 2nd and 3rd seat are in good condition they are covered in tweed and need a good cleaning. The rear seat could be used in a Blazer. Would like to sell locally. $40 front seat, $60 middle seat and $100 rear seat.

Also a have another front bench seat that is rough (needs foam) great for a rat rod project $20.

I also have a mid 90's middle seat that is in very good condition with all hardware. This will seat will fold down to maximize your hauling space. $75

Thanks.

Would you be willing to ship the rear seat?

Re: Suburban Seats

Hi Rob,

I would ship it but not sure what is required. I see people saying shipping Greyhound is cheaper. How would I package it? You can check shipping from 37010 to your address. I can put it on a skid and ship it LTL. Let me know what you want to do.

Thanks.

Would you be willing to take it apart and ship it via greyhound?

Re: Suburban Seats

Sure, I will take it apart. I'm not sure how to package it. Put some cardboard around it and tape it up good. It's not really fragile.

Thanks. What do you think the dimensions will be? I can check fedex to see what they will quote me. Also, what all brackets come with it?

EDIT: Before you take anything apart, can you take me some picture of the mounts and the bottom of the seat? Something looks different than mine and I want to make sure it will work. Thanks,

Rob

Re: Suburban Seats

I will take some more pics tomorrow. Send me a PM with your email address and I will send them that way. I will take a picture of the underside of the seat so you can see the brackets and I will get some measurements. The only brackets I have are ones attached to the seat.

Re: Suburban Seats

That's what mine looks like. Someone took the arm pieces off. If you want them I will take them off the 2nd seat. I will get pictures tonight when I get home.

Re: Suburban Seats

Did you have some Suburban parts you were selling? I am looking for the hardware from inside the tailgate. Mine are bent and I would like a better functioning set. Maybe we could do some trading.

Re: Suburban Seats

I have tailgate parts, actually have three burb tailgates now.
Can pull one of the sets of rods out for you next time I'm home and send them out.
Trading parts works for me, still interested in rear arm rest brackets,

thanks
Chad

Re: Suburban Seats

I will gladly trade you for a complete set of hardware out of one of your tailgates for the arm rests you want. Just let me know when you want to trade.

ttt... Anyone in need of seats. It's about time I got these out of the garage. My project is just about finished and I'm starting to get rid of items I didn't use. Thanks.

Re: Suburban Seats

Do you still have the second and third row suburban seats available? If so how much to greyhound to the Atlantic City NJ depot.

Re: Suburban Seats

I still have these seats but have someone in line first for the front seat and 2nd seat. I hate to sell the brackets off a perfectly good seat. I will check on shipping to Atlantic City NJ. I just got a quote ship to a skid via LTL to Clevland Ohio for $157 through with my companies freight discount. They maybe cheaper than greyhound. I will see what I can find out tomorrow on shipping to Atlantic City.

If I can't sell the seats complete and Mt Man Chad still wants the arm rests and THE86er wants the mounting brackets I will part it out the middle set and sell the hardware off $30 for the armrests and $30 for the mounting brackets + shipping.

Thanks.

Re: Suburban Seats

72gmguy,

I checked with the LTL carrier and it's crazy high to ship to you. I don't think shipping 2 of these that distance will be cost effective. Somewhere around $100 - $125 each.

Just let me know if you are still interested.

Thanks,

Re: Suburban Seats

Thanks for the offer, but at that shipping price I will pass. For future reference, I had a blazer seat shipped from MN to NJ for $40 with Greyhound a few weeks ago. It was just wrapped in plastic wrap.

Re: Suburban Seats

I went to the Greyhound office here in Clarksville TN to see about shipping one of these a few months ago. Maybe I don't know what to tell them. If you want to check on shipping Greyhound I will ship it at cost. I'm not trying to make any money on shipping. The zip code in Clarksville 37043.

Yes. I have the middle and back seat. Shipping cost has been the issue with selling them.
