2wd lift kits
1970 c20 custom camper
I'm toying with the idea of installing a small lift in my truck, something around 2-4". I see the 2 and 3" body lift kits on summit racing. I was wondering if there were any suspension lift options? Looking around here, it seems that i can upgrade to 1 ton springs for approximately a 2" lift, but at the cost of ride comfort. Since this would be an easy in/out swap I might be interested. 2" - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PRA-572/ 3" - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SLF-8543/ I'd like to see some pictures of trucks with small lifts (<4") preferably LWB. I'd like to know what you did to get it there and how you like it.

Re: 2wd lift kits
I am also interested in what a small lift on a 2wd truck might look like. I know there will be a lot of people that say "LIFT?? - On a 2wd, are you crazy?" but I think just a couple of inches and tires/wheels sized to fit would look really nice.

Re: 2wd lift kits
When I took the motor/tranny out of mine I liked how high the front end sat up. I've heard there are some kits but there rare and expensive, there for a 73-87 but with some mods they can work for our trucks.

Re: 2wd lift kits
this works better..... and yes the 2wd lifts for older trucks are pretty hard to find..... putting a dropped SPINDLE on these trucks if prlb. the easiest way .. with block in back.... i seen a 67-72 blazer that was up 4-6" back in the 90's while cruising central in phoenix.. it was SICK SICK SICK !!! im not a fan of body lifts ....
