I've got some marks in my windshield probably from a bad wiper at one point. Does anyone know what I can use to try to remove these scratches and rub marks?

Any info is appreciated. Thanks.

Eastwood company and JCWhitney both have kits for buffing out scratches but in the long run i think you'd be alot better off calling the local glass guy and have him look at to see if it's savable or just bite the bullit and have it replaced

I used the kit from Eastwood a few years ago. It works "as advertised" meaning that the literature said "if you can feel the scratch with your fingernail, you probably won't be able to get it out." I was able to remove several scratches completely, but a couple were "too deep." They were better than when I started, but still visible.

Toothpaste will get out light screeches.

I just buffed out the glass on my shower door to remove several scratches and a lot of VERY hard water spots that no chemical cleaner would touch. I used a small pneumatic detail buffer and a product called A-MAZ water stain remover from the hardware store. Its really just a polishing compound made for glass. You could use a large buffer just the same. It worked fantastic. Not only did it remove all the hard water spots whgich absolutely NO chemical cleaner would touch it also removed all the scratches in the glass surface. I wouldnt hesitate to use it on my windshield. You can use a buffer or some 0000 grade steel wool if you feel like wearing your arm out.
