front shock question

does anyone have pics on how their front shocks are mounted to the axle? mine just dont seem like their right...i am in the middle of switching axles in the front and want to do everything right

front shocks...???

does anyone have pics of their duel front shocks? im changing out my front axle and curious how everone else has their shocks mounted....i have a bunch of washers and what not in mine now...im pretty sure that isnt correct.....


for my steering stablizer mine was garbage...from the get go...so instead of my steering stablizer i put one of my stock shocks on there...anyone ever heard of doing this? thought id give it a try...

i put this in the 4x4 column but no one there is responding...always had good luck here tho.....

On a dana 60 but same setup or there's the other kind where its 2 in a row

ya that looks good...are those shocks or steering stablizers? or is there a difference?
i was really needing to know about the ones that go to the frame from the axles...i have duel shocks but dont think its right

lol yeah i wasn't paying attention i guess those are steering stabilizers mine doesn't have quad fronts my old 91 did but now it has rockwells this is the only image i can get of that setup from lmc's catalog look at the last picture

Kind of hard to tell without pics post some up so i can see how it looks and from there pics its also hard to see but it looks like there's a piece on the frame for the right shock and then for the left there's its own bracket as well which should space them. Where do yours rub at

the shocks rub a little above the bracket...i might try moving the shock location on the bracket
