Who is going to Springfield Swap meet?

Who is going to the Springfield swap meet? I have never been so this will be my first time, any pointers from the veterans who have attended before?

Hey there Short, I'm from the same neck of the woods. I'm between Rogersville and Springfield.

I've been there a few times. Sounds like some other guys from the midwest have too. Lots to see, a lot of good, some not so good, but that's just normal I guess. A few vendors from around Springfield with used parts are always there. One fellow last year had quite a few of our kind of parts along the north side.

I just enjoy walking around and seeing what's available. Hoping it doesn't rain too much. Maybe we'll see you over there.

Is it this weekend? Anyone have dates and times?? I may have to skip work friday as well! Last year I ended up going just to look and ended up bringing a honda trail 70 home in the trunk of my car, along with a set of drag wheels and tires for the stang,lol.

Just looked. gates open at 7am and close at 8pm. friday, saturday and sunday. I am planning to go. Hopfully I can find something cool for my '64!

You guys find any good parts?? I ended up getting a nice original aluminum grille, good custum cab corner trim, good chrome bumper, non rusted radiator support, rust free header panel, and a rust free dent free fleetside tailgate. I was pretty happy. All stuff that I was wanting or needing. Oh, and I also bought a Honda z50 trail bike haha.

I bought an Aluminum grille. No Bezels, but I only paid $40 for it. I also bought the panel for behind the grille and some late model wheels for $40. I would have liked to have bought the GMC hood up by the corner of Norton Road, but the wife was ready to go home by this time. Maybe next year!

I looked at that grille very first thing that morning. I ended up finding a reeeally good aluminum grille with bezels for 25 bucks! The guy must have been nuts!

I guess I have to go up Friday next year, I got up there saturday and didn't find much..... no bargains and very little 4 5 6 stuff. what was there was bought up by other vendors and loaded up until the next show.
