Drop Spindle part numbers?

I just bought some McGAUGHYS drop spindles and was wondering what the part numbers were that are cast into the spindles?
Mine say 6072.
Anyone running their spindles and know the part number?
The MCGAUGHYS site lists part numbers as 7387LD & 7387HD, but I don't know if that's what is cast into them or not.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Drop Spindle part numbers?

I will try and check mine tomorrow. Did you make sure to check the rotor size? My rotors are 1".

Re: Drop Spindle part numbers?

Thanks

Yeah, I bought some spindle awhile back that were supposed yo be for the 1" rotors but they weren't. So I bought new ones, so I could use my redrilled 1" rotors.

Re: Drop Spindle part numbers?

Nevermind, I called McGAUGHY'S today and they told me that the number on the spindle was the casting number and that the part number and what they were for was on the box. Now I feel kind of dumb, but in my defense that info is pretty small......

So they are correct, so I may have some new progress pics up next week.

Cool. Don't blame you for being cautious. When I got mine it had 2 painted "L's" I thought I had only left sides but when put next to each otherthey were different. Good luck with your install. Do yourself a favor and cut a coil of the spring. I will be doing this to mine sooon.

Same here, and I have already cut a coil off along with some other cutting bringing me in at 8" of drop in the front. Check out my build, the link is in my signature.
