Wiper Transmission Question
My Texas inspection ran out so it's time to put the wipers back on. Haven't looked at them since I tore it down 2 1/2 years ago. Looking thru my old parts I seem to be missing the retaining clip and maybe a spacer where the wiper transmission connects to the wiper motor. I see there is a tab on the end of the wiper transmission arm but I'm not sure why. I'm thinking there should be square spacer. How does it connect? I checked the LMC catalog and it doesn't go into details.

Re: Wiper Transmission Question
One other question regarding the wiper switch. I have what is supposed to be a GM universal switch. It has four prongs and came with no wiring instructions. After messing with it I determined the following:
L = Low H = High P = Washer B = Appears to be ground My problem is low requires the Low and High wires to be grounded but they are independent of each other on the switch. So for now I only get one choice, high or low(if I put them together on a single terminal). Can't figure out how to get high and Low working independently. I planned to get a replacement motor and saw there is one with 4 connectors. Would that work?

Re: Wiper Transmission Question
As far as the trans clip, once you have it in hand, it is self explanetory.
