Re: I need help Plz

its funny you should bring this up because i was searching for info on the interchange of the steering columns yesterday. I was planning on putting in a tilt column i had bought for my 76 and it turns out there are alot of differences in the columns. It turns out that my column wont unlock but I was going to have to change out the actuator rod and the ignition switch from the column existing in my truck because the actuator rod would keep the ignition switch in the wrong position so had i hooked it up there would have been a similar issue ( or so it seemed because i never actually put the tilt column into my truck because i couldnt get it unlocked and found a siezed bearing in the top of the column
