rear cab mount ?

Just saw these http://*******************/-63-87-ful...hassis-mount-3 and wondering if they will work on my 66 c20. It had the old s brackets with the rubber in the middle before. If they wont work.. any ideas on where to find some is much appreciated.

Re: rear cab mount ?

Those won't work. The '67-'72 mounts are slightly different than the '63-'66's.
You can get your original ones rebuilt from Steel Rubber. A former member here, Tony Smith makes repro's for the '63-'66's, but I'm not sure how to get in touch with him.

Not sure if you are referencing those mounts that you posted or some home grown solid mounts but the ones in the link you posted still use a rubber bushing between the cab and mount. These do not bolt directly to the cab.

Re: rear cab mount ?

Oh no im talking about the c20 custom camper mounts with the rubber that runs vertical. They suck and r expensive to repair. Im looking for the style that has a rubber cab mount like the ones above.

Thanks Clyde, Ill give that a shot.

Re: rear cab mount ?

Just an fyi, if you get the c10 rear cab mounts and brackets, they'll bolt right on.....surely someone has an extra set of frame brackets you could pick up....

I discovered this on my truck, which started as a c20 and I robbed some rear cab frame brackets off of a '65 truck bed trailer I picked up....hardest part is getting the rivets off, all the holes are in the same location

Out of curiosity, what happened to Tony? I've bought a few parts from him and benefited from some of his posts.
