another gauge option

So I got around to messing with my new gauges this weekend. I have VHX dual 5" universal gauges from Dakota Digital. I think its a pretty cool set-up, modern gauges with all they're cool features but with a somewhat retro look. Looks like they use something similar to a modern GM instrument cluster processor so it has 2 information centers that give warnings for things like low fuel, over-temp, low oil pressure in text form on the gauge faces. Has 2 trip meters, adjustable shift light output, high rpm and speed recall, programmable service interval alert and can do some fun stuff like 0-60, 1/4 mile time and speed.

Uses modern 2 and 3 wire senders for oil pressure, water temp and vehicle speed all included in the kit. All the info comes to a remote mounted control box and uses a CAT5 cable to run to the gauges so you only have to disconnect one thing to remove the gauges. I also am using the Dakota Digital fan controller so thats the small box to the right of the gauge controller and the temp sending unit with the single wire on the intake manifold.

Anyhow, heres the pics, tell me what you think.

Re: another gauge option

For the turn signals I found some generic bulb carriers(I think they were replacement parts for VDO gauges)wired them into the harness and put them in the factory holes. The new gauges have turn signal indicators built into them but I didnt like them as much. Since the new gauges have oil pressure and and volt gauges as well as warning messages for low volts/oil pressure the factory lights are now inoperable(just left the bulbs out).
