Re: New to the board - '79 GMC
Thanks! I'll have to get some interior shots... I thought I had some but couldn't find them. It has an all stock dash / panels. The seat / headliner have been reupholstered in blue with a subtle embossed / stitched flame pattern.

Re: New to the board - '79 GMC
Thats a nice one there buddy. Don't see many GMC's and very few as clean as that one. You gotta post more pics and details too. BTW- Where did the front bumper come from?

I didn't purchase this front bumper... it came with the truck. Although, as Ron said, I've seen it in an LMC catalog before. I do like the one I have... still an original looking bumper but a little sporty with the fog light cut-outs. |

Re: New to the board - '79 GMC
Yeah, I'd have to agree... 79's are the best Haha! Thanks everybody! Hopefully soon the temps will drop below 100 and I'll feel like getting back to work on my truck... it's been brutal here in Texas this summer.
I'm gonna get some more pics of the interior and under the hood soon and I'll post everything in the "ride pics" category... stay tuned! |

So ever since Ive been looking for another one. That blue/white one I used to own even further back, tried to buy it off a guy who had it in Rockwall, Tx but I was outbid by a buyer by $200 and missed it too. So the search for another one continues.......... |
