Roof Rack??

Very common on cars and station wagons. The 67-72 Suburban had a factory option (I think).
Just wondering if this would have been available or option on 67-72 trucks?
Im thinking probably not.

Anybody have a roof rack-have pics to post?

Re: Roof Rack??

I highly doubt it as well... after all, trucks do have a fairly large area for storage...

...in the bed...

I think they look really cool on the burbs.

Actually, not that uncommon on trucks. The Tacoma’s, Tundra’s and Nissans all have Factory Roof Racks. The 150 has a Baja Package that includes a Roof Rack. Plenty of after market stuff for the Ram and Silverado as well.

I was @ a car show a few weeks back and noticed some 50’s era trucks with racks that looked vintage but were drip rail mounted.

Just wondering?

Re: Roof Rack??

That's because a lot of modern day trucks have 8 feet of cab and 4 feet of bed.

I've never seen one on a 67-72 pickup. I kinda want to see one to see how it would look. A cut down burb rack would look pretty cool on a crew cab.
