2003 bose questions

in my 2003 z71 ive got the bose system got the sub in the console. and its got the amp im guessing in the console as well.does this amp got controls on it like the db knob an stuff. like other amps do on the back of them or wherever it would be located. im also thinking about changing the sub to a jl audio 8 inch. i dont get much performance from that sub im running an alpine 9887 deck

Re: 2003 bose questions

Factory amps very seldome have any sort of controls. All of your adjustments will need to be made at the head unit. If you swap to a new sub, you'll need to swap the amp for all of the speakers and the sub. JL Audio makes a really nice series of full range classD amps that should fit your needs perfectly
