Cluster Project for harleyhouser

Working on a cluster for board member harleyhouser. I told him I would post up some progress pics.....so here they are.

Here is a back shot:

Here is the back with cover installed:

And here is the front (so far):

Still have to install the new clock face, the clock motor, halo ring to illuminate the clock, wire it up, etc....but so far so good.

Re: Cluster Project for harleyhouser

I have been hammering away at the cluster all morning. Got the Halo ring built (my wife almost shot me when she found me using HER oven and not the one in the garage!!!).
Got the LEDs installed in the ring for illumination of the clock.

Got the clock needles painted to match the AutoMeter stuff. Got the remaining cluster metal parts painted (drying now).

Will attach Halo ring to the clock after the paint dries, then attach the new clock face and start the final assembly / wiring

Re: Cluster Project for harleyhouser

Clock installed. In real life, the needles are very close to matching perfectly. They just didn't reflect the flash in this photo.

Should have it assembled by the end of today. (currently waiting on the clear clock cover to dry in place on the bezel)

Then it's just a matter of running the wires.

You do some really good work Putter. If I'm ever in need of an updated cluster, I know who I'm talking to!

What does something like that run if you don't mind me asking?
Beautiful work by the way.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
