Not new but still have a question

Got a 72 C 20 camper special or custom camper and was wondering if there is a difference in the rear suspension from a "regular C 20 and camper special
C-20? It's a leaf spring truck.

Thank you suspension gurus!

Re: Not new but still have a question

My SPID lists "G50 - Heavy Rear Spring", but that's likely the only difference as far as the rear suspension goes.

It also has a rear swaybar, but it is aftermarket.

Re: Not new but still have a question

Going by the data for 1969,assuming it's the same, the minimum requirements for a leaf spring custom camper were 1) Front stabilizer bar,2) HD rear springs (G50) 3) HD front shocks (F52) and upgraded tires.
There was a 2,000 (each) leaf rear standard on Longhorns. The G50 requirement was the 2750 lb leafs (or 3,000 coils on coil rears). On a K20 the G50 option was 2500 lbs (leaf).
