3/2 drop

ok so i got no money so any sort of kit is outa the question...what i got is a 93 LWB reg cab ... i was thinkin if i remove the 1" thick overload spring in the rear ... how much that gonna bring me down?.. and for the front i was gonna take the stock coils out and cut one hoop off ... any info concerns anyone atempted this before? and i guess im not broke... just really cheep

heres some pics of what i mean... i dont think the bottom leaf holds any weight at ride height so maybe be better off leavin it and takin out the next one up?
