Above Windshield Panel
anyone know how to repair rust out above the windshield on a '66 GMC truck?? Is there a repair patch panel or something of that nature? The rust is from the windshield channel up to the roof area! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Most people are finding a donor truck and cutting out the parts they need and welding it in ......or if your fab skills are good you can bend your own..

I believe that if you check the LMC catalog you will find that entire section between the seams is now available as a repair panel.

I just bought one from Top Banana. The price was good and they shipped it fast. In fact they have a 10% off deal going on this month but it ends tomorrow.

I looked at the Top Banana repair panel....and it says it is for '60-'63 trucks. Will this work on a 66 GMC????

Sorry, I thought they'd have one for your truck also. Since the 60-63 is a wrap around windshield it probably wouldn't work.
