3" body lift on 89 chevy, what other parts do i need?
1989 chevy 1500 4wd ext cab! I have all mounts and bracket mounts! Where do I get steering linkage and how do I make shifter linkage for my 700r4 trans? Any pointers because I'm doing this myself, thanks guys! I know what to do but unsure of linkage and maybe other small changes I may need to do!

usually when you buy the body lift they give you it, just like a 1-2in piece of metal probably thats how mine i think i got it from summit if not just get a small piece of round metal ace hardware, lowes etc sells them cut make it about 2in long weld or have welded on shift linkage and grind a flat spot like linkage already has and bolt back up pretty easy

Re: 3" body lift on 89 chevy, what other parts do i need?
well youll need the obvious body bolts and body lifts blocks. Assuming you already have that, youll need you steering extension, Fuel filler extension(dont have to use this on stepside models) bumper brackets, and the automatic shifter linkage extension(its just a 3" long round rod, I think its around 7/16" diameter) Like mentioned earlier you dont have to extend your floor shifter. Youll have to remove the lower portion of your fan shroud if you dont have the spacers to lower it down.
