Re: 86 gmc

Thanks, nothing major, just got the truck, straight swap, was all sorts of colours, painted it, got the wheels real cheap so thats the reason those are on. I notice that its not a popular site for big wheels??
New to doing trucks up. Its 3 speed manual at the moment so am planning on changing to auto, want to put a turbo 400 onto it but am just deciding if I wanna put a floor shifter on or change the steering column as to keep the bench seat seating 3 people.
Alot of plans but money talks...

Re: 86 gmc

Agreed - don't go to low - a 3/4 drop max with that size wheel/tire combo would look right & still ride nice.

Re: 86 gmc

Thanks...yea I dont want to go too low, was thinking of 2/4 or 2/3 drop, still want it to be a practical truck but with a bit of a custom look. Anyone know much about swapping steering columns? at the moment its a floor 3 speed manual but want to change it to an auto preferably a steering auto column shift...
