Stone Shields/Gravel Guards
Looking to find a set. Anyone know where to find them. I'm looking for the old stone shields that went in front of the rear tire on the rocker portion of the bed. Thanks for any help.

Re: Shone Shields/Gravel Guards
Also - later in the product life we added a clear mylar/tape in that area.
You can buy that tape in various catalogs, like the Griot's Garage catalog, and could make your own. K

Re: Shone Shields/Gravel Guards
Ya, I'm trying to make it look like it would have been back in the day. I found LMC had some on their site so I ordered them up last night, But I still like to find a old set. I'll post what they are like, I should have them tomorrow. Looked all over ebay for them with no luck, but I'll keep looking.

Re: Shone Shields/Gravel Guards
Several manufacturers of thick clear flexible plastic films. I've used Lamin-x as rock guard on the nose and rockers on my 2000 GMC.

Re: Shone Shields/Gravel Guards
There were stainless guards that were dealer-installed when the trucks were new. Last I looked, there were several NOS sets on ebay.

Re: Shone Shields/Gravel Guards
Let me know how it turns out when your all done with it. I have seen some on ebay I don't have any use for them but have been asked about them or something for protection from a people with older pickups that they want to keep in good shape.
