Re: canopy /tonneau
Gaylord's is the only company that I know of that makes a hard cover for our trucks.

Re: canopy /tonneau
Would a canopy even look right on our trucks?

Re: canopy /tonneau
I've seen several late model fiberglass shells mounted on stepsides over the years, but none of them looked like they "belonged". I paid attention because at various times I thought a canopy/shell might be a handy addition. The only type I've seen that seem to fit our trucks are the old round corner aluminum models.

Re: canopy /tonneau
I would think a fleetside could have one built special out of a totalled suburban.

Re: canopy /tonneau
I was actually going to do that about 20 years ago. I had 4 parts Suburbans, but I was forced into moving and had to get rid of them before I got my canopy made.
At the time I als had an older wood frame canopy on my '66 C20. It didn't look bad since it was an older design.

Re: canopy /tonneau
That's too bad you never got to finish your vision.
Now a wood canopy might be an neat option for a stepside.
