helpfull hints and advice wanted....

Going to be changing out the vent window assembly. 67 K20 was smashed in the d-side, changed out the door for a 69 I think. I like the 67 only vent window latch, saved it from the wrecked door. Now that I have it back on the road, going to start tackling little stuff like vent windows, badges, etc. So, what's your best advice on this swap? Keep from screwing something up.

Thing go a lot easier if you remove the door glass completely instead of just removing the back track and tilting the glass
