81 C10 Inline-6 Build
Recently purchased this truck off my co-worker. So far,(by searching the forum ) I have been able to deduce this is a 250 inline motor. It has A/C, which is nice in AZ, however it goes in and out, will need to check the freon. Was told by PO that it was fairly new, and there might be a leak somewhere.
My wife has dubbed her "Black Betty", I personally like "Black Beauty" though... Since it's so hot out, I'm going to get the A/C figured out first, than go from there. I blew a fuse plugging in my cell charger, so while trying to figure which fuse to replace, I ended up replacing them all. I also re-did some wiring in the bay, some of those wires were really bad. I've replaced the two rear wheels with new on Friday, rides a lot better, as well as peace of mind since they were pretty cracked from age. Anyway, here are the pics: Grease on ground was from the 72 F250 I sold to buy this: Interior is worse than it looks, lots of crap everywhere, someone had a dog that shed a lot at some point. The flooring consists of sub-box covering over residential carpet pad. Needless to say this will stay for the time being until it gets cool enough outside to do more than an hours worth of work.
