Bed Mat
Does anyone know where to find a bed mat to fit a 71 fleetside short bed, I don't want a universal that has to be cut, I'd rather have one made to fit they look better. I've looked but cannot find one. If anybody knows please let me know.

Re: Bed Mat
I bought a 3/4" thick sheet of rubber made from recycled tires for both my trucks, they look better than any custom bed mats I've ever seen, they're also much thicker and a lot less expensive, only $80. It was easy cutting it to fit perfectly and being heavier it helps keep my back tires from spinning and makes the bed less noisy when getting bumps.
I've heard people claim bed mats cause rust but I haven't had any issues with rust at all, I just swept out from under the mat in my 69, it's been in the truck for at least ten years and the bed looked the same as the day I put the mat in it, I haul a lot of dirt, brush, leaves, etc. and haven't found any rust. Re: Bed Mat
I used one from a 1973-87 Chevy truck, fits pretty good.
