12.50/33 BFG A/Ts are back
They must have made another run of them. They are popping up for sale again. Not sure about 35s. That's the ones I'd like to get a hold of.

What are you using that wide, short AT for? Are you sand duning with a relatively stock rig? Or do you enjoy the look? What width rim do you usually run them on? I always liked BFG ATs.

Re: 12.50/33 BFG A/Ts are back
They're great for the road, snow, rain, minor mud (better than what comes on all 4wds),sand,etc. They are only short on trucks lifted over 4". They mount up onto 8"-10" wheels. They are also great for the rear of 2wd 3/4t and SRW 1t trucks running wide wheels for stability that don't need a howling off road tire with higher rolling resistance. For my truck I need 35s because I have a 6" lift. I have a set of 12.50/37-16.5 Super Swamper SSRs on 8.25" steelies and would like a set of All Terrains to mount on my 9.75 x 16.5 steelies for the beach. I also have a set of 9.75 x 16.5 aluminum slots I want to mount some 36" Ground Hawgs on just for the look (and yet another tread type...directional). The deal is,with 16.5 rims all you can get these days are mudder/swamper/bogger/hawg tires and it's nice to have a tread available for less aggressive needs. I wish they'd bring back Dick Cepek Quiet Giants.
Here's what they look like on a non-lifted '90 Blazer with 10" wheels. This was my family car and the tires were just right for what we did with it:

33 x 12.50 x 15 A/T BFG's?? I never knew they had stopped making them. I used those on every Jeep I built.
*never mind....i see you are talking about 16.5" *

They don't look so wide in the pic Special K. It looks like a nice stance.

Re: 12.50/33 BFG A/Ts are back
Yeah,I mean the 16.5s. I guess I left it out of the title. I figured those who needed them and found out they were unavailable would know what I was saying. It's come up a lot in discussions here. I only showed my old Blazer with 15s to show snj8198 how they look on a non-lifted truck. Those are Bushwacker Extend-A-Fenders,Thirdstreetito
