The distributor is up front too, so not a sbc.

If the truck is solid it is probably worth close to $1,500.

He may mean sbc, but the pics clearly show what appears to be a buick engine.

Looks like an AMC motor with that distributor. If that is a SWB truck (looks like it is), it is probably worth his asking price.

after getting to work an lookin at the pics agian i did noticed the distrib. guy says its got rust in the floor an on qutarpanels in stuff.

Well it says OBO... start about 900 and move from there. I just looked at a truck for 850 OBO and I offered 450, she really wanted 500 and we settled in the middle for 475 but people put OBO for a reason... they know they overpriced it.

That is a small block Buick. Not a whole lot of aftermarket stuff available, but they are very torquey. Good fit for a work truck in my opinion.
