turn signal indicator

I just re-installed my dash and some duct work underneath and now my left turn signal indicator light stays on whenever i turn my lights on. The right indicator came on as well when i finished the job but after a light tap it has worked fine. I didn't take out the guage assembly so i'm stumped why this happened, it's a printed circuit so i don't know where it could be getting a hot connection from the lights. It doesn't blink just stays on at about half power the entire time my lights and parking lights are on. Thanks for any help.

Exclamation !!! WELCOME TO THE BOARD !!!

You most likely have an outside bulb blown out.
Check your outside lights.
If your left turn signal indicator is on, that represents a dead bulb on the left side.
If your right turn signal indicator is on, that represents a dead bulb on the right side.

If all your bulbs are working (all functions, brake & signal) then make usre they are the CORRECT bulb (check them to make sure, if they are all working).

If that is not the problem, then I'm not sure what is it.
From the turn signal lever in the column there is a wire harness that travels down the column and then plugs into another hardness above the pedals. Make sure all connections are tight there.

Good Luck!

This is all in addition to what Phoenix said - do what he said first - It could be the flasher unit. If something burns out in it it starts doing weird things...

BTW - check to make sure a bulb is in correctly - sometime the old plastic gives way in the assembly and when you try to insert a bulb in, it can be backwards.
