Have you had luck selling in the Forum Classifieds?
I don't want to get in trouble.. Money is tight and I've spent a good amount elsewhere trying to sell my vehicle (I will not say anything else regarding the truck to show my question is legit). I just was wondering, I have no ploblems supporting the site, I'm just running out of $ and didn't notice a whole bunch of trucks For Sale here.
If I am out of bounds I am sorry, I am not trying to sell here. |

EVERY single part I took off my truck I sold in this site best $25.00 you will ever spend and 99% of the people are legit there is always one bad one ion every group but I was fortunate that I never met him yet.

Re: Have you had luck selling in the Forum Classifieds?
You deal with a LOT better caliber people on this site than any Craigslist site out there bar-none! Just like big Al said, the best $25 investment you can make!
Any fact is you already know these fine people are after whatever part you are selling instead of any other place that caters to everyone and other parts not related to our year trucks.

Re: Have you had luck selling in the Forum Classifieds?
this site is going to reach your best target audience. but keep in mind that a lot of folks wont buy a vehicle without seeing it in person first, so for a VEHICLE, i would use local resources first. since you have not had any luck with that yet, have you considered that your price may be too high?
as far as selling PARTS, especially stuff that is easy to ship, you cannot beat the parts board here. good luck with your sale whichever route you choose. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Have you had luck selling in the Forum Classifieds?
The nice thing about listing a truck (or parts) on this board is that Josh has done a great job getting this board to show up very high in search engines...so you will get a lot of looks from anyone looking for your type of truck. Just make sure you put a detailed description and good catch phrases people might google/bing/etc...
And yes... I pay well more than $25 to sell here (high octane) and it's been MORE than worth it! I've sold two vehicles on the board and countless parts...and found parts I've needed through being able to post wtb's...

Re: Have you had luck selling in the Forum Classifieds?
I second the above. This site has not only sharp sellers and buyers, but quite a few members willing to donate at little or no cost (add shipping). I have found this to be really amazing and helpful, especially in these tite $ times.
Good luck and $$$ -up!!! |

Re: Have you had luck selling in the Forum Classifieds?
Yes, ..... I did my best on my end of sale. because I knew they were on top of their game on their end. .... both sales went well. .... I feel so fortunate to be a part of this website group. .... the misc. people who have screwed people and got banned from this website are truly living in a fog. ...
life is good, kent p.s. ... I learned a lot about shipping Buddy Buckets to Tennessee, ... mass quantities of duct tape.

Re: Have you had luck selling in the Forum Classifieds?
I have had great luck buying and selling parts but no luck selling trucks. I had a buyer recently say he would take the truck only to change his mind after not responding to my calls.
