difference in beds??
Is there a difference in short beds from year to year or 2wd to 4wd? I just replaced the bed on my 79. All the body lines were good. With this new bed the lines are maybe 1/4 to 3/8 to hight. What is going on here.

Re: difference in beds??
the differences were with the gas door on the fleetside models.. with the step beds the basic bed is the same since the fifties and the fenders are different

Re: difference in beds??
I am going to guess that your body mounts are worn and sagging.
