The 87 shortwide project

Well guys after looking for the past three years and after having no luck finding somehing i could afford, this truck popped up here locally. I took it and another truck on trade for a 56 ford pick up my dad and i built so cash wise im into it for about 2500. There is no motor/tranny. The truck has a dent in the passenger side rocker, drivers side fender and a little bubble up rust starting under the wheel well molding over the drivers side rear tire and in the drivers rocker. Interior wise the truck is pretty nice, all it needs is a head liner and dash pad. The seat has been recovered and new carpet installed. The truck has a new windshield, new belltech 3in drop spindles, new gm front coils, all new ball joints, shocks, bearings, seals, rotors, calipers, brake shoes, drums, everything which has been installed in the last week. This truck has not seen the road for the past 5 years so im sure the fuel system needs cleaned. But as for right now it is going to go into storage and put back until i can afford to do something with it. My plans are to sell my k5 and dump quite a bit of that money in it. I would like to put a 5.3 in along with porterbuilt front and rear suspension and maybe some 20, 22 twisted vistas. Thats my ultimate goal. Let me know what you guys think

Yes sir it will stay that color, im going to fix the bad spots and leave it alone.

Man My '79 is a similar color. Also mostly there, sans motor and transmission. Really digging the 454SS wheels on there! Good looking truck overall man, goodluck!
