2.5 inch drop spindles are pinching my brake lines

has anyone else had this problem? it seems im going to need to rubber lines and new banjo fitting

the brake line is coming off of the caliper and where it turns to rubber it is getting pinched by the top part of the spindle.

would grinding a small amount of metal off of the upper spindle arm cause the spindle to become un safe or weak?

heres a picture

Re: 2.5 inch drop spindles are pinching my brake lines

i took a big screw driver and lightly (very lightly) pushed them off of the spindles, it fixed it, however im going to leave it parked for a few days to make sure the lines dont leak, my dad has taught me a lot but he always emphasized being careful with brakes. "if it wont go you have a problem, if it wont stop you're screwed"

Good advice from pops. You'll be fine, this is a standard issue/fix with drop spindles.

mine were the same way......I had to bend the line a little, and had to pull it out of the clamp.
