Headers

Can you use full length headers with a 4/6 drop. I have the Hedman Elite headers and they are not fitting very good. There is no since of using them if I cant reuse them when I lower it. Any suggestions

Re: Headers

I have the same headers, I don't think will work with a 4-6 drop.

Re: Headers

I agree, I dont think the hedmans will work, the dr side is pointed downward& that will be the issue. I swapped my hedmans, for a set of Hooker comps (#2452). My old truck has a 2 1/2-3" drop on the nose, & about 5" rear. The very bottom edge of the collector hangs (at the flange), about 2" under the rails.....I could dump the nose another 1/ 1/2", & I doubt that it would cause any trouble. just make sure that the rest of the exhaust is tucked up tight. best of fun, crazyL
