Re: Wiper arm remova;l
There's a teeny tiny clip under there that you have to press
out of it's lock... Then rock the wiper off the stud with your hand and a wide flat screwdriver and a rag protecting the cowl. Sometimes the clip sproings off or breaks, sometimes the wiper won't come off easy. Sometimes like butter. My plan has always been to conn one of the guys into tackling it for me. Hehe...guess I'm not much help. Good luck! |

Re: Wiper arm remova;l
You can buy a wiper removal tool for about $5, it's a simple little tool but you wouldn't believe how easy it works, after struggling for years to remove wiper arms without the tool it was almost fun removing them with the tool!
You can get them at some parts stores, LMC, and Classic Parts, well worth the price! Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: Wiper arm removal
Buy the tool, no more chipped paint, four letter words, or pinched fingers.

Re: Wiper arm removal
Never had the tool and never chipped any paint. I just use a paint stick to pry against with a door panel clip tool. If it's really nice paint I put masking tap on the paint stick.
