Stock 4x4 Tire Size Help

Hey guys....what is the biggest tire you can run on a K10 Burb, with stock suspension? Will 33's clear?

Does anyone have pics of a stock Burb, Blazer, or truck with 33's on it? Thanks in advance!

Yeah,33s. 12.50/33s on 8" wheels will work and may rub a it in more extreme suspension flex. I have only run them on 10" wheels and have gotten by. Maybe 8" wheels are fine. You can get narrower 33s from BF Goodrich...9.50 or 10.50s. If you go to 16" rims you can run 285/75s or 255/85s.

Yeah, I was thinking about 255/85/16's on 16x6.5 rims. I think I will like the stock looking style vs. the 4 inch suspension lift on it right now.

I'm liking that look more and more...finally (after 35 years of wanting nothing but big and beefy)

I hear you on that.....I really dig the stock look, especially the look of the 4x4's in the original brochures and advertisement's. Tall and skinny tires. I don't think I will have a problem selling the 4 inch suspension lift, for there are no miles on it and it is a Skyjacker springs all the way around!

Oh, and I am going with Satin Black Factory steel rims too....instead of the white.

It looks like you have a really great Suburban,by your signature. I have a 6.2/700r4 '85 Jimmy. I'd like to have a 67-72 with that stuff, especially a large capacity people hauler like your Suburban. A practical classic.
