wierd.roaring noise
Finally got truck all back together. But now. When you drive it I. Get a roaring noise. It is not tires because it.only.does it when I am pushing gas pedal. Not in it don't do it.when it is coasting or in nuetral. Is it just because it is lifted so big. If it is normal. Ok. But does not sound right to me. Any help is great

You just finished lifting the truck? I'd take a look at your drivelines. Normally driveline will make noise during coasting or deceleration, but if you pinion angles are to aggressive then that might cause it. Anyone else have any ideas?

What type of trans and tcase do you have? I would think its the tcase. What did you finish putting back together?

Could it possibly be roar of air from a clutch fan that has failed & locked up (engaged all the time)?

did you ever figure this out having a similar problem with my truck just got it lifted 4'' and it is making a similar noise only on deceleration
