Re: Parting out a 292 6cyl
Interested in the intake and exhaust manifolds. Could you post pics of whats broken on the exhaust? If you can give me a rough estimate for shipping, that would be great! Go Huskers....pound those dogs! Sorry, my zip is 98501.

Re: Parting out a 292 6cyl
Could you give me a shipping quote for the complete air cleaner to zip code 85224? It includes everything in that picture, correct?
Put me in line for the manifolds as well. Could you post a picture of the valve cover? Any dents in it? Was the 292 bolted to a 4 speed manual? If so, do you have the flywheel? Did the truck have power steering? If so, how much for the complete setup? Where does the heat riser mount? The 292 in my 67 doesn't have that.

Darn he beat me to the punch, if the truck had PS or AC and you want to sell. Let me know!

Re: Parting out a 292 6cyl
68 Iron: Looks like about $57 total. See the pic with the shiny broken bolt. It's where you tighten down the exhaust pipe.
mahanian: I'll have to get the box from storage tonight as it's not a my house. Yes, all parts in that pic will be there. The separate heat riser goes on the exhaust manifold & sends heat up that 90deg tube w/45deg bends in the breather picture. You'll want it with the air cleaner parts if it's not already on your truck. Motor NOT pulled yet but should be soon. I will make a new post for more of those parts so keep an eye out. Have all the linkage needed too. Heatriser installed on exhaust manifold Heatriser moved down & back toward firewall Seeker: NO AC or PS. Wish it did cuz the PS brackets alone are worth coin IF you can ever find them. Good luck on your search.

Re: Parting out a 292 6cyl
Here's a couple of general motor pics & mahanian can see the valve cover - it is perfectly straight, no dents or dings at all. Even has the clips still attached.

Sorry for the delay. Pulley was a hassle to remove but off now. All those parts for $90. I can box up the manifolds, heat riser & valve cover together in 1 box (39#) for $34 shipped UPS. Pulley, all bolts & cleaner parts in another (23#) for $23 UPS. Total is $147. The length of the exhaust manifold & valve cover forced me to split the stuff up. I can ship them out Monday if we can settle up before morning. BTW, I saw NO cracks or flaws in either manifold. Thanks for waiting.

Worst case would be the Large box USPS for $15 or they might fit in the Medium box for $11. They should lay down & fit within the 5.5" box size. The only problem is the motor is still setting on them today & I don't have either of those boxes yet. I'm working to remove the motor & will get boxes tomorrow. So $41-45 total depending on which box they'll fit in. Thanks for the poke btw.

Both packages shipped out today. Put your email on the notifications so you should get track #s when shipped. Thanks & good luck with your 292 project. I REALLY liked mine until it finally quit. Can't believe how hard (good way) it ran considering it was pretty much a 5 cylinder since #2 had almost no compression. Good old torque monster motor but just not worth it for me to rebuild since I had a low mileage LT1/T56 that needed a home. Would have been interesting to run a small 4bbl & intake along with split exhaust manifolds & duals. Mine only got about 8 mpg (BBC kind of mileage ).

Guess what that is? All the motor mount parts in a Medium Rate box. If you don't mind the rounding up .05, just make it $41. I'll send you a PM with my paypal addy. BTW, anyone who says it's no big deal to remove a 6cyl/4spd together with the Cab on the frame, should have come over to help. 12 rivets later - 2 that are virtually impossible to grind off, to remove the tranny xmember - BIG HASSLE. Just glad I got an air chisel & die grinders. Also, Mahanian - Did you get all your stuff in good condition? Never heard from you & just wanted to make sure it was all good. Thanks guys!

Re: Parting out a 292 6cyl
I am interested in the cylinder head, are the valves and rocker arms operable? (ie. no sunken or cracked valves and so on) how much would you take for them shipped to 39533?
