Brake and Tail lights not working

First off i hate wiring lol. Just found out my brake and tail lights aren't working. Tried replacing the the fuse but it keeps popping. any suggestions on where to to start looking would be a great help thanks

Disconnect the rear most harness near the rear axle and try again, if it pops, then you know its between the cab and there if not then you know its in the rear harness. My guess is its in the rear harness.

Look over the rear harness well.Most of them have been hacked at some time for trailer lights and aren't well done so they short out.

Turned out to be one of the rear sockets. The black piece with the two small ear's on it needs to be replaced. One of the ear's is wore down. I messed around with it and got it to fit a little tighter. When I find a new one i'll change it out.

autoparts stores have repair kits for the sockets//comes with pigtail spring and the fiberboard insert
