P30 motorhome parts
aside from the engine and trans what would be left of much use? I know some motorhomes had a tilt very close to our trucks anyone know what years that is? I bought a 86 p30 today over the net at a sale I am using and I was the only bidder, wild, huh.The sales list it as a 7.4 auto and I thought I was told some had gear vendors overdrives in them . Anyone know much about these things?

Re: P30 motorhome parts
I don't know if this helps you..
I have a 1986 Pace Arrow with the GM chassis, 454 and TH400 The tilt column looks more like the later pick up style, but I could be wrong. J.

Re: P30 motorhome parts
Well, I went to pay out today and to look at what I have gotten myself into. The thing has 36,000 miles so the motor and trans ought to be great. The tilt that is in it is the infamous "motorhome tilt" that looks very much like the ones in our trucks,in fact I have a motorhome tilt already and they are much closer to the truck column than the van tilt.It also has cruise lever so thats a bonus. It has 7 new 19.5 inch tires[who buys a new tire for a spare?] It also has two roof air w/heat a tv w/dvd,and a onan generator. Along with other stuff to go in a camper that someone might want. I think it is cool to get a 36k 454 w/th400 but I still have yet to figure out how that motor comes out. The access panel in the floo is no wider than the middle of the valve covers . Might be interesting.

Re: P30 motorhome parts
Are the 19.5 8 lug? Would you want to sell them?
