Tire size help (BRAIN FART)

Need some help with tire size , Im taking the 10 inch wheels off the front and putting 8s in its place the tires on it now are 265/50/ 15 and for the life of me I cant remember the calculation I want to keep the same profile

The height is found by taking the middle number as a percentage of the first number. I explained it really bad. Basically with your number the height is 132.5, so 50% of 265.
If your new tire is 235 wide you would want a 235/55/15 which would give you a height of 129.5 (55% of 235).

Take the tire width, times that by the aspect ratio as a decimal, times by 2, divide by 25.4 to switch mm to inches, then add the wheel size...
Here's what u have... 265 x .50 x 2 ÷ 25.4 + 15 = 25.43"
