bedside toolbox door
I know they dont reproduce these and finding one thats rust free is hard to find but wud it be possible to fab up? what wud u use for a handle and lock?

You're going to have to make your own !!! The picture below ( with blue paint ) shows how bad mine was originally. The second picture is after the door was "re-skinned", the latch replaced with new metal and all painted white. It can be done . . . it just takes a lot of work. . . . .

The best thing for hardware is use the original parts from your or another rust door.

I dont have a door to start with wud it be possible to fab one using a non toolbox bedside? and use the hinges from a glove box door?

My door ( and surrounding area ) were made from a new, non-toolbox panel. I didn't do the work myself, so I can be of much help on how it was done - I just know . . . it wasn't EASY !!! LOL

Find a rusty door with hardware for cheap. I have only used original bedsides. You can do anything with metal,but I'd still want the original stuff to model after...to do it correctly.
