Interesting CL ad

Not mine, what is wrong with people, who in their right mind wouldn't post better pics of a 25k truck. Scam?

This one is less than half that and has good pictures:

I'm partial to the 8-luggers as you can probably tell.

Reminds me of the 1967 bigfoot footage. Sad thing is...its probably a pretty nice truck. Not 25G nice, but nice.

To me it looks someone scanned an old Polariod picture or something. I don't understand how they could be serious about selling it after putting out so little effort- people are just weird I guess.

Yeah, it looks like a photo of when it was new. Probably doesn't look anything like that 40+ years later.

I agree that if a person has intentions of selling something that expensive, they should have a decent picture posted. There's phones these days that take better pics than what he's showing and I always get leery of blurred out pictures or pictures taken at night on Craigs list or Ebay.

Modern day want add's leave much to be desired. These are the same people that post an ad that states " ENGINE $2500 Call BR-5491" and then they sit back & wonder why no one calls or the can't believe they have to answer the same questions (what kind, does it run) over and over again.

Or my pet peeve - vehicles for sale with no price. Just a phone number. I really don't know why people do that. Every car that I have ever sold I put all the pertinent information including price this way I don't waste my time or their time.

Re: Interesting CL ad

Theres no way this guy wants to sell his truck. Not one person is going to dial his number and any fool would know its gotta be cherry to get that price. And if it was cherry, he would be dying to show clear pics. He probably promised his wife he would try to sell it and hes making sure that no one buys it.

I just called the number and got a mailbox message. I just had to see if it was a scam or what the deal was.
