brembo rotor sale

Summits having a sale when i called they had 8 left. Ordered 2. Fit perfect and theyre ballanced! Reg 125 ea. On sale for 25. Vented are 45. For our trucks, 1.25in thick non hub. Figured id share!!!

So....rotors (and drums?) can be balanced? A guy who i worked with who also worked at midas told me rotors could not be balanced.

Maybe Midas can't/won't do it, but they certainly can. It's no different from any other rotating mass, weight can be added or removed to balance it.

I can't find them now.

They do have Summit Racing brand "cross drilled" rotors for $40 each.

Isnt that the purpose of machining so they can be balanced out........??? Midas probably does that so you have to buy new rotors.

I would never take one of my vehicles to a brake shop unless something is really wrong and I could not fix it myself. Most are crooks. Maybe not all or even the one you use or work at but my cousin was passed over as manager because he couldnt pressure sell good enough . It was a large chain store in our area. He later went to work at a dealer then on to a private shop where he was super happy .

Nope, machining is to re-new the contact surface where the pads touch the rotor.
