I'm trying to pull some seat belts out of my parts suburban... Any ponters on how to get the rubber covers off?

Who could I send out the seat belts to re-web them? THese are faded and some are frayed a bit.

To remove the shoulder harness cover you need to "feed" the seatbelt back into it and pull the cover up 90 degrees to expose the bolt. The floor boot needs to be worked back and forth and pulled back over the seatbelts.

I got the shoulder belts loose as you said yesterday. Not having any luck either feeding the webbing back into the lower covers nor am i at pulling on them trying to get them out from under the bolt head. Wonder if I'm planing on rewebbing them if I should just cut them?

I'd rather not...

Just to be sure, on the floor the rubber cover should come out from under the bolt or do I need to thread the webbing back into the cover as with the shoulder harness belts?

the floor covers should just slide back off. they are not held by the bolts like the shoulder boots are.

you may need to push forward on them a bit to "pop" the lip off the back, then they should slide back easily

Thats what i had thought also. I was afraid to tear the boot so I didnt put a lot of effort into it. I'll go back and see what I can do. Will be later this week though.
