Yup, I'm finally getting a set of tires. I only have $600, so I needed to find cheap tires. I originally wanted(and still do)33's. But the one place I found them cheap enough said they are out of stock and it could be months before they get more, well, I need them now, it would have been $609 for the tires plus shipping($108 per tire+$175 shipping). So I searched some more, like I have been for months. So I searched 32's, cheapest I could find was $129 and they are out of stock. So I had to go down to 31's. Plenty of those for cheap! But less than 5 for less than $115. So it was down to the Nexen Roadian A/T($109 per)and the Kenda Klever A/T($105 per). So I decided to go with the Kenda because I havent seen a single review of them. And I love reviews, so why not add to the reviews? So my total will be $542.44, thats tires, taxes, and shipping. And it leaves me $57.56 for my KTB Liquid Tire balance!

Yeah, I've done lots of research on them. They are out of stock of anything I would want. Plus, why pay for retreads when I can get new for the same price? I will probably get a set from them when I switch to 16" wheels(if I do)and see how they are.

Got them Friday! Waiting for the liquid balance in the mail. Then payday on Thursday. I cant wait! Also, I've been wearing down my rear tires...

Hey now! I think the darn thing has a TrueTrac in it, smooth transition to posi, no clunk like a clutch posi unit. I think it may have grenaded when the chief had it and he forgot to tell me it was rebuilt. Just like the transmission, it shift smooth(too smooth for me)but there is no slipping. It towed a fully loaded Zodiak behind it since '92. So I think it may have been rebuilt as well. Bot sure though. After my next payday in two weeks I'll change the pinion seal, cover gasket, and fluid in the rear, I'll find out then.

EDIT: When I do burnouts, I do it smart, on a very slick surface. Polished concrete or wet new asphalt. NEVER on a tough surface.

Ok,that's good. But,I am not one who is big on burn outs. Seems senseless and wasteful to me. The best way to "keep" everything tight is to not do the "sit'n'spin". It doesn't just eat tires.

Got my tires! Went to Fuquay Tire(long time friends)and got my new tires put on white letters out. IT looks great! The first 10 miles or so was kinda vibratey. Then it smoothed nicely. The tires make as much noise as BFG A/T's. I have all 4 set at 45psi out of 50psi max. The truck lifted about 1-2 inches atleast. Looks great! I love it! Takes turns nicely. I'm gonna have ot get used to driving on tires with tread lol, plus they are taller. They have great manners. I've only been up to 60mph. But I have to work tomorrow, so I'll find out how they do at 65mph. The pictures will be uploaded later. I am ECSTATIC! I'll also let you guys know how they are in the rain.

EDIT: They also checked out my front end, he said everything is nice and tight! Im so happy!

Update! Over a year and 12K miles on them and Im happy. The liquid balance didn't work out well. Definitely only for semi's. When I had them take out the liquid I switched to blackwalls and rotated the tires to even out outer tread wear. Vibrations all gone now that I use lead weights. I'd say they have %65 tread left at 12K so they could be 35K miles tires if you dont do burnouts or other tire wearing activities like I do. Still nice and quiet and very smooth. They are amazing in mud up to 5"(never found anything deeper), they clean out very well. Great wet traction and hydroplaning resistance. Gravel and sand they do very well in. They tow excellent; Ive had #4K behind my ass saggin burb and they didn't get squirrely or anything. Overall I LOVE them. If they made 32's or 33's I'd buy them again in a heartbeat. I recommend these to anyone.
