cab issues
Does anyone know of anyone reproducing complete 67-72 cbs, or anywhere to purchase a rust free cab that is willing to ship it for a descent price. I started repairing the one from my 69 but it seems as if every panel I rmove i find more rot that i wasn't able to see before removal of the cab or previous panel. I thought it would only take a inner cowl pane, floor pan, cab corners and rockers. now i find half the a pillar besde the cowl lower toeboard where the vents are lower b pillar behind the rocker are all gone. so all i got is a good firewall and roof and some glass. If anyone can help me with finding a nice rust free cab i would greatly appreciate it. This project started out in recognition of my wifes late grand father and will greatly appreciated by her father and aunts.

Re: cab issues
first off... to the boards from NC....sounds like you've ran into the infamous rust belt truck...If you are looking rust free, be willing to either travel out west with your own rig and tote one back (maybe grab 2 or 3 and sell them when you get back to pay for the trip)....there are folks that have shipped them too....keep your eyes peeled on the parts board here, watch your local craigslist for something in a little better shape....they are out there, just be ready to spend some money....

Re: cab issues
I'd check fall Carlisle, Pa swap meet. There is usually 1 or 2 available there that someone brings for the west. Take lots of cash however...
