X2. You could remove both pieces and eliminate two possible leak areas,but would need to bleed system. I guess if it ain't broke...

the things you find on trucks. I've seem some good stuff.But lately its been getting better from some of the car's and trucks

Looks like the proportional valve is on upside down and plumbed wrong.

good catch, it's a 69 (if it's the truck mentioned by his username) drum drum trucks had distribution blocks not porportioning valves. It doesn't hurt anything but it's definetly wrong.

I could be wrong But I think its some dill hole's attempt to plug a fitting that don't belong there in the first place.

Maybe that part is part of an old line lock system for the front brakes so you can smoke the rear tires until you're blue in the face. Is that distribution block upside down though?
